Perfection Feels Forced

By YAEL REGEV, JPOST STYLE

We live in a world of niches. In the past, without the internet and with only a few TV channels, weve all been exposed to the same sources of inspiration and the same media celebrities (Madonna, Oprah Winfrey or Michael Jackson). Today, we live with the internet and social networks, and its those who stick to a niche that can bring in interested, and more than that stable, audiences to them. Like the well-known plus-size blogger Gabi Fresh (Gabi Greg) has been doing with great success.

The Local

By TAL MISHALY

By ADI SHTAMBERGER

Im not sure I really like Best-of book lists, because reading is such a personal thing. So here are my Bests-of. You can tell me about yours at [email protected].
נשות הניחומים by Ruth Hallo (Keter) The story of Chinese women who were turned into sex slaves for the enjoyment of Japanese soldiers during World War II, and their later fight for acknowledgement as war victims by Japan. Horrifying and important.
